Awning Prices Guide: How Much Does an Electric Awning Cost?

Prices for our contemporary awnings start at £3500, including VAT and the cost of installation.

All of our awnings are made bespoke to meet your unique specifications, which means the final cost of your awning will depend on how you decide to customise it.

What factors will impact the cost of my awning?

When it comes to crafting your dream outdoor living space, personalisation is key. At Open Space Concepts, you get full control over the appearance and functionality of your electric awning to create a structure that is perfectly tailored to you.

There are several different factors to consider when designing your bespoke awning, and each will have an impact on the final cost.

What factors will impact the cost of my awning?

Size

Size has a huge impact on awning pricing. Whatever your budget, larger awning sizes (width and/or projection) will cost more.

If you require a large awning with a width of over 5m and/or projection of over 3m, you may have limited options when it comes to selecting your awning model. Some models, such as the Markilux 1710 Stretch awning or Pergola awning, are specifically designed to support the extra weight of a large width or projection and may be more pricey than other models.

Model

The type of awning you choose will also impact the overall cost. All of our awning models are operated via remote control and crafted by the industry’s top manufacturers, including Markilux and Erhardt, but each comes with its own unique set of benefits that might make one a better fit for your outdoor space than another.

Some models can be tailored to fit any outdoor space, while others are specifically designed for large or narrow areas. Find the maximum width and projection of each model on our awnings page, or contact the team for advice and guidance.

Colour

Our awning cassettes are available in a range of standard RAL colours. However, if you prefer, you can select your own colour for an additional fee.

There are over 250 awning fabric options for you to choose from, and pricing may vary slightly depending on which one you decide to go with.

Additional features

One of the biggest decisions you will have to make when designing your retractable awning is whether to include additional features for an extra fee. These include:

Wind and/or sun sensors: These will automatically retract the awning to protect it if wind speed picks up, or ensure it’s always extended on sunny days.
LED lighting: LED lights can be fitted to the underside of your awning, allowing you to comfortably enjoy your outdoor space even after dark.
Infrared heating: Built-in infrared heating will enable you to enjoy your awning even on chilly winter evenings.
