The Vue Collection in detail
Vue Pod
Vue Pods are metal garden structures, built with an all-round support structure. The aluminium roof can be changed slightly depending on your preferences - you can pick between either an inner mono pitch or a dual pitch roof.As you might have guessed from the name, the Vue Grande model is slightly larger than the others. These structures feature a luxurious cubist design, as well as an integrated slope contained within the rafters. You can't see the glass inclination from outside the building, looking fabulous wherever you're standing.
Vue Grande
Our Vue Grande designs are a little more divergent from the other Vue Collection models, as they have a front overhang built into them - this can add an extra degree of elegance to your home.Whilst this model is generally erected as a lean-to structure, freestanding glass rooms and verandas can also be built in this style.
Vue Primo
The Vue Primo is a quirky number, yet it also carries an air of contemporary grace with it, no matter what sort of garden it's built in. These models feature a visibly flat roof with bold rafters.The Vue Primo is often built as a lean-to veranda without walls, exposing the inside to the elements. This allows you to really soak up the sun in the summertime, mixing the outside and inside worlds together in a glorious way. However, we can still install a version of the Vue Primo as a freestanding structure or a glass room.
What's really impressive about the Vue Primo structure is that it allows you to extend the room by an additional 7 metres - simply by adding an extra post. There's also no limit placed on the width. The only restriction would be down to the amount of space available in your garden.
Glass rooms and verandas

Whilst some of the room varieties in the Vue Collection allow for a glass room look, we also have an amazing selection of definitive glass structures available to view.
There are two main types of glass structure available - the glass room and the glass veranda. Our glass collection gives you a greater view of your surroundings, so you can look up at the beautiful night sky on an evening.
These enclosed garden structures also give you the illusion of being outside in nature, whilst keeping you safe and tucked up in warm surroundings.
Most of our other designs can be turned into either glass rooms or glass verandas at your leisure - choosing a glass version should add greater value and appeal to your property as a whole. Our glass verandas are made from a sophisticated form of aluminium, which frames the structure.
The different types of glass veranda you can add to your home include:
- An ascending glass roof veranda
- The Vue Primo glass veranda
- The Vue Pod glass veranda
- The Vue Grande glass veranda
Our verandas are created in a modular way, which means you can keep adding to them over time, if you wish. At first, your glass veranda will start out with just the basic roof. You can then add extra glazing elements and shading products on the sides if you prefer. This is just another way in which you can design your own unique brand of garden structure with Open Space Concepts.
If you'd prefer something a bit different, our glass rooms might be right for you. There are three main structure types available, which are:
- Ascending glass rooms
- The Vue Grande glass room
- The Vue Pod glass room
However, further variations can be made to the different types of glass room listed above, so there's no need to worry about losing your individuality!
A glass room is much more cost effective than a conservatory and adds utility and value to your property as a whole, due to how luxurious they look. Their modern facade is built with aluminium and glass, specially designed to withstand even the harshest of weather conditions.
This means that you'll always be kept safe and sound inside - even whilst the sky is raging outside!

Add an Attractive Sloped Pergola to Your Garden
Whilst we make several different versions of the pergola at Open Space Concepts, our sloped pergolas offer something a little different.
These garden shelters are diverse aluminium offerings with stylish sloped roofs. Not only are they aesthetically pleasing but, like our other products, they can also be tailored to your own specifications.
If you wish, you can enclose our sloped pergolas with glass. However, these structures can also be created with just the frame, if you'd like a more open space.
A sloped pergola is the perfect option if you want to be able to relax outside, whilst also giving you shelter against the elements. Our sloped pergolas allow you to add a bit of privacy to your garden, particularly if you're considering using the space to entertain guests.
Features you can include in your sloped pergola include:
- An integrated heating system
- Additional glass sliding doors
- A retractable roof
- LED lights, as well as linear lighting
- Drop down screens fitted to the front and sides
- Powder coating with a choice of any RAL colour
The roof is made from a PVC fibreglass material that repels oil and is immune to mould. Frost and heat protection is also included, ensuring that your structure will stand the test of time.
There's no need to worry about the water drainage gutter making the pergola look unsightly either,

Each project will be different, depending on what you decide to include and how much you want to customise it. However, we can still give you a rough estimate of how much your design will cost to help you choose the best outdoor structure for your garden space.
The pushy tactics seen so often in the sales universe, designed to trick people into buying something they may not want, are the opposite of how we do business. We go the distance in order to ensure you're happy with your purchase before committing fully to the project.
Whatever your buying intent is, we'll never push you into making a decision. Whether you've made your mind up already or are just testing the waters to find out what's available - we'll leave all the big decisions up to you.
All pricing information will be provided before we've attended your property. We also ensure that every quote we give is fully inclusive of VAT and the installation costs associated with your new development, ensuring you'll never be left out of the loop. There are no hidden costs, and every single project is priced using the same rates.

Can You Get Business Finance for Your Outdoor Structure?
If you're looking to install an outdoor structure but need financing, we also offer business finance to get your project up and off the ground.
We work primarily with a financial organisation called Halo. They provide asset finance and banking facilities to a vast range of businesses - from small start-ups all the way through to massive corporations. The minimum lending amount is £10,000, with around 95% of all applications being approved.

Planning permission
Is Planning Permission Required?
This is a key question that we get asked - and the good news is that, in most cases, the answer is 'No, not at all'.
For most of our structures, you won't need to apply for planning permission ahead of the installation. Planning permission is usually only required when the area being built on is classed as a listed building or is located within a conservation area.
However, as every building is unique, due diligence is always advised just to be on the safe side. Check to see if you require planning permission here.
On the off chance that a planning application is required, then a planning fee (usually £180) is payable to the local authorities.
