The client wanted to create a stylish and functional outdoor dining space that would allow them to enjoy panoramic views of their garden. The space needed to be adaptable, offering an open-air experience while also providing shelter from the elements when required. The design had to complement their existing home while incorporating modern features for convenience and comfort.
The Solution
The Louvre Pod Pergola was chosen as the perfect structure to meet the client’s needs. Spanning 3.5 meters by 6.4 meters, the pergola provides ample space for dining and entertaining while maintaining an elegant and contemporary aesthetic. The Anthracite Grey frame with Cream louvre blades was selected to create a sophisticated contrast that blends harmoniously with the property’s surroundings.
To ensure maximum flexibility, sliding glass doors were installed, allowing the space to be fully opened or enclosed as needed. This feature enables seamless transitions between indoor and outdoor living, providing the best of both worlds.
For added comfort and convenience, integrated speakers and power sockets were incorporated into the structure, allowing the client to enjoy music, charge devices, and power outdoor appliances effortlessly. LED RGB perimeter lighting was also installed, offering customizable illumination to set the perfect mood for any occasion.
To further enhance usability in all weather conditions, the Louvre Pod Pergola was equipped with rain and snow sensors. These sensors automatically adjust the louvres, ensuring the space remains dry and comfortable during inclement weather while maintaining airflow and ventilation.
